Strange I tried the two gig order link from the referenced post and got a page not found.

Eyeballed the location in Columbus. Weird network. XLHost's website shows only a 10Gbps connect in Columbus. They appear to have end nodes scattered and take stuff in at end nodes and stuff it in VLAN or something equivalent. I say that cause about 16ms from NYC and the traceroute clearly seems to end in NYC and next steps are their internal network.

Probably why the throughput numbers seen on LET are lower than one would expect.

Hoping the kid succeeds, but it's going to be hard for him considering reputation. Site down in under 24 hours isn't a good sign either.
