CPanel DNS Only needs 2.1GB to upgrade?

So I have this 5GB HDD box with one of the LEB providers here running a CPanel DNS only. And a few days ago I have received an email indicating the upgrade has failed because of insufficient disk space. Apparently the latest CPanel DNS only upgrade requires 2.1 GB of space while I only had 1.9GB left.

I am just wondering if there is any way I could get rid of some of the stuff to free up enough space to upgrade, I have removed /var/log and yum cache but that still does not give me the 200MB I need.

Make sure you don't have any crap in your root directory / or home or /root directory like test files and leftover install files and such.

Next I would check all running services and make sure everything running is being used, sometimes apache is installed and you aren't even using it. Uninstall all packages you aren't using, even check in dpkg for things that might not be running but are installed.
