How do people in general view the value of mis-spelled domains, as an example, may be g00gle versus Google? Or 5tableVPS versus StableVPS?

I think it is of value if you plan to host some (shady) ads or something else that monetizes views, other than that it might confuse and annoy people more than it benefits you.

So essentially from a domain trading perspective those domains don't worth anything?

If you're looking to monetize those domains I'm not sure how much value you will get, I never bothered with that stuff ;)

I don't think numbers in the domain are of much value... and when the company finds out you own the domain they will take legal action to sieze it from you. Common misspellings however are very valuable.

Well, I am sure if it cost them 200 bucks to buy and 500 bucks to sue me they'll just pay the 200 bucks right? Smile

Misspelled is good for bulk traffic only. Could end up in legal snafu though. Cheap enough to try the like domains and see what you get.

Value of the domains is sheerly inbound traffic. Most domains would have little value. Tons of traffic? Well more value, but more likely to be legal issue.

Some companies will go ahead with the lawsuit out of principle. It's very shady to do that anyway.
