Just curious, what is the kind of cost to have you guys get online from home?

I'll start with mine:

Down: 18mbps
Up: 3mbps
Bandwidth: 200GB per month (both up and down)
Cost in USD: about 50 USD per month
Country: Canada

Anyone else?

Down: 30Mbps
Up: 1Mbps
Bandwidth: unlimited
Cost: $100/month
Country: United States

I have Time Warner Cable. They work fine for most things but I can't stand my incredibly slow upload speed. Online backups, uploading photos, videos, websites, all that takes forever. Plus they always seem to throttle my download speed when I am uploading.

The sad thing is that a couple hundred miles south of me is Kansas City where there is Google Fiber. No alternatives to TWC where I am at.

Ummm I am on Crime Warner customer too. Awful company. I miss my Verizon FIOS. Weird random pricing. Long hiding the information on offers. Constant annual price increases. If I had an alternative, I'd use them.

Down: 20Mbps... Never reaches that.
Up: 1Mbps? Who knows... parks itself around there.
BW: Unlimited...
Cost: $60+ a month.
Country: USA

Interesting...@HalfEatenPie. I'd actually like to have Comcast instead of Time Horror.

I mean it comes with native IPv6 too plus a few other nifty things that I can't really complain about.

One thing that does annoy me is that I've been fiddling with my wireless router (installed dd-wrt) and it just doesn't seem to like me.

I'll probably end up running my raspberry pi box to check the status of the network every few minutes and look over the data in the morning or something...

On the upside, my download>upload ratio is pretty good... assuming you dont actually need to download... or upload... anything any time soon.
