FreeBSD - How easy it is for Debian users to use them

Tempted to get this deal here:

But it seems to support FreeBSD only (which I think is weird since the node itself can't be running on FreeBSD right?), however I am just wondering if it is easy for a Debian user to learn FreeBSD.

What do you think?

There are differences, more so than Debian -> CentOS. You'll cope though.

That's why I am kidn of wondering if it worth the effort to do so...
But the location is really good though and it is tough to have a rare location like this...

Garghhh...why don't they just have Debian/CentOS....

Actually the node is running FreeBSD

Quoting from their offer :
Quote:All of their VPS’s are based on FreeBSD’s jail feature, which allows them to provide vServers with minimal extra overhead.

Ah, I didn't read this carefully enough, so VServer actually runs on FreeBSD? Pardon me for my ignorance but it is rare to see virtualizations runs on FreeBSD.

I know 2 other providers that do that - so yeah, I guess it's rare in the VPS industry.
