Looks like .biz and .info are increasing their prices too, the domains are getting more and more expensive:
As one of the many differences between NameSilo and other registrars, we make it a priority not to bombard you with emails unless we believe there are things you should know regarding only the very core issues related to purchasing or managing your domains with us. To that end, we wanted to let you know about 2 price changes that will occur on September 1, 2013. These increases are the result of the registries for the associated TLDs increasing their registrar wholesale prices and are absolutely *not* the result of an arbitrary price increase by NameSilo. Here are the details:
.biz prices are increasing by $1.00 for new registrations, renewals and transfers
.info prices are increasing by $0.90 for new registrations, renewals and transfers
Again, our price increases are based entirely on the fact that the registries are raising their wholesale prices. These increases impact all registrars and many have already announced new pricing as a result.
We are proud to continue offering the lowest everyday prices for domains, and, in case you were not aware, we recently launched the NameSilo Discount Program which allows you to save even more.
If you have a .biz or .info domain name that you have been considering registering, renewing or transferring to your NameSilo account, we would highly encourage you to do so before the price increases go into effect on September 1, 2013.
