Just saw this thread on WHT:

From the OPs point of view I can understand why he is frustrated, since the last thing you want after spending xxx dollars is to have someone take it for free.

However I also understand what William said since if he removes the content with false DMCA, EDIS may get more negative reviews, etc.

Your thoughts?

I think William is doing the right thing. It sucks for the OP to have his stuff stolen, but expecting a provider to jump through hoops to help you just because you whine is ridiculous.

Agreed, and sometimes it is tough to tell, what if a website that is scraping contents out of LEB or even 96mb (not sure if there is any for the later but I definitely recall a few LEB-scrapers) send an email to the provider and tells him/her that they have to shut LEB down? That would be totally ridiculous.

Not saying this is the OP's situation, but again, it is a tough debate.

I just believe that william is doing the right thing here. Imagine if your provider came to you and said : "Hey, there's a guy on the internet, that told us that you stole something."

They protect their customers and I guess that is something we all want.
