Ubiquity Servers: Why the bad names?

I have got a few phishing emails in the past few days. Obviously I weren't silly enough to click on the link and type in my online banking password, but just out of curiosity, I did an IP check on those sites and they all seem to point to a single source: Ubiquity Servers.

This is not the first time I have seen Ubiquity Servers showing up as the hosting provider for some illegal online activities. I am just wondering why this particular provider is so "special" that it seems to provide a good place for those kind of websites.

Most likely because they don't respond to abuse complaints etc. They use to house a lot of spam, but think they are trying to clean it up lately (like *cough* lately).

High performance, fast network, affordable price VPS - Cloud Shards
Available in Texas, New York & Los Angeles
