Humble bundle - zhuanyi - 03-29-2013

Anyone tried them? Looks like a pretty good deal since it is quite a few software at a cheap cost (if you don't want to pay a lot of course):

I have never made a purchase there before, but just to get the idea right, technically I can get all the games by paying a single dime as "contribution"?

I often use the Humble Bundle, it's a great deal!

You get a certain offer for donating any amount you want, be it just $1, but then you get the entire offer for donating their recommended amount or more (which I believe is currently at $7).

Then, they give you Steam gift codes for the game(s). Smile

Are those games for PC? I thought that is the Android bundle...

Unless there is a Steam for Android as well?

@[zhuanyi] I believe they are doing a "Mobile Bundle" at the minute too, which, yes, is for Android - the normal Humble Bundle is generally Steam: Windows.

I've purchased every single Humble Bundle. They're totally worth it personally.

RE: Humble bundle - zhuanyi - 03-29-2013

I am still not quite getting it, say for right now, this is what I see:

Pay more than the average of $5.52 to unlock these two games

So how much do I need to pay to unlock all games? 5.53 (or anything >5.52?)

RE: Humble bundle - HalfEatenPie - 03-29-2013

Yeah basically.

As long as you're paying more than the average (5.52 dollars), then you get the additional two games included with your purchase.

But if I don't (say I just pay 1 cent, technically), I will get the first 4 games?

Basically.

Its all automated. So as long as you pay more than the average you get the two additional games.

I personally always pay one dollar higher than the average just for this reason.

So which means as times goes by this average might be higher as people tend to pay more and more than the average Smile

Interesting business concept indeed, and a very smart one as well!
